"Very good"
The location was right on hwy 101. It was clean and cheap. Very spacious room. Friendly staff. They have a hair dryer, but you have to ask for it.

My husband and I were walk ins, but the manager was quick to get us checked in. He was equally expeditious responding to a television issue, which he just as quickly resolved for us. Very pleasant ( and oh that curly redwood!!!

Hotel was unique, retro and clean. Room felt safe, appeared better than other motels in the area. A good location for driving to the Redwoods.

Room was clean, check in was easy and the person checking us in was really nice. She told us there were elk behand the property and showed us.

Good location, low $$. Big room for all our stuff. Was clean. For the money it's what you would expect. Staff were fine. People on here complaining about them. Not rude and not stoked.

We booked the family room with two bedrooms. We are a family of 6 so that was a huge bonus for us. Most Hotels do not have a family room or one that is inexpensive. I enjoyed the assigned parking stall that is located Infront of your room. The room was very clean.

Location was good, right across the street from the marina. Plae was comfortable and basic. Nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Nothing fancy but suitable

This is a pretty unique lodge, all made from a single redwood tree! The rooms are spacious, as was the bathroom.

We had one of the few rooms in which the bathroom had been renovated. Beautiful decor from India! Our room was huge! Lovely touch to have flower beds separating the parking spots!

The family that runs it are really nice. The place has history. I do think they need to update a lot of things there. But keep the retro/vintage feel.

The Curly Redwood Lodge is a classic mid-century modern structure built entirely from the lumber of one giant Redwood tree. It has been maintained in beautiful condition and was spotlessly clean.
